As a non-profit cooperative group, WHIP is entirely grant-funded. We utilize grant award funding for a variety of projects related to invasive species education and outreach, plus control and management wherever possible. We are grateful to our supporters for allowing us to reach a wide variety of citizens in the Northwoods, including students, educators, and other volunteers of all ages! Check out our recent projects at the links below:
Project W.O.W.: The War on Weeds! (citizen science reporting of invasive plants)
Wisconsin, Worms, and WHIP! (citizen science monitoring on invasive earthworms)
Roadside Invasive Plant Surveys (mapping invasive plants on the right-of-ways on our county roads)
